Reputable financial services organization in Los Angeles is looking for a sharp Accounting Manager. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations of accounting and finance, prepare and review public filings including 10-K, 10-Q and 8k , monitoring SOX compliance, supervise and mentor a staff, prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages to ensure proper accounting in accordance with GAAP, lead additional accounting and reporting projects
Job Qualifications:
Must have 5 - 7 years accounting experience with at least years in public accounting with a CPA license and 1 – 2 years in a managerial role
Must have financial services/investment industry background
Strong understanding of GAAP
Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Knowledge of SEC Reporting requirements and filings strongly preferred
