Reputable and growing organization is looking for a strong Senior Accountant. This person will oversee the day-to-day accounting, financial analysis, external and internal reporting functions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of GAAP financial statements and various supporting schedules as part of 10-Q and 10-K filings
Manage compliance for credit facilities and managed funds
Monitor daily cash positions and requirements
Help manage various credit facilities and overall leverage requirements
Prepare monthly reporting for various investment funds
Responsible for managing and developing staff person
Serve as contact and coordinator for auditors and tax advisors
Various special projects/reports for both internal and external use
Requirements:
Public accounting experience (minimum 3 years) with experience in financial services industry a must
CPA or CPA candidate
Accounting degree
Strong attention to detail
Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
