Senior Financial Analyst
Large company in Los Angeles is looking for a sharp, outgoing Senior Analyst. Responsibilities include:
- Review and analyze territory and consolidated financial results for accuracy in accordance with US GAAP
- Analyze title performance vs. Plan and Market and provide in-depth insight into performance drivers
- Accurately track P&L statements, balance sheets, and other key metrics
- Interpret the significance behind the numbers
- Excel at researching and analyzing financial data
- Bring significant financial issues to management’s immediate attention
- Review and analyze territory budgets / forecasts / mid-range plan for reasonableness, potential risks and opportunities
- Lead projects and ad hoc finance activities, make recommendations on process improvements, and drive standardization & consistency across territories
- Provide meaningful ad hoc analysis to internal customers
Requirements:
- Must be a self-starter with high motivation.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to meet deliverables in a constantly changing environment.
- Excellent level of communications skills.
- Excellent project management and planning skills.
- Ability to lead and work well with the team.
- B.A or B.S in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
- 3-4 years of experience in Finance/Accounting required, entertainment experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Information:
$60-$70k + bonus
