Our client, a large Entertainment and
Media conglomerate is seeking a strong Accounting Manager to join
a newly created group.
The role will be responsible for managing
accounting, tax and financial reporting for this group and will
support a mixture of management reporting and operational analysis
along with maintaining accounting systems in accordance with US.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly closing process
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting
packages for Management teams summarizing key performance measures.
Meet with management teams monthly to review operational performance.
Supervise a Senior Financial Analyst
Develop internal controls and process improvements.
Assist and/or take lead on integration of
newly acquired companies supporting due diligence, purchase
accounting, and system integration/setup.
Job Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate will have a Bachelors Degree
in Accounting/Finance
6+ years of experience
CPA preferred with experience in Public Accounting
